CALL FOR ABSTRACT:

All interested public health professionals and health service researchers, policy makers and educators are invited to submit their abstract for oral or poster presentation by 20th May 2013.

Although the organization encourages abstract that are in line with the main conference theme and related sub- themes, other public health and health services topics are welcome as well. Submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee at Chennai.

Guidelines for Submission of Abstract of Paper for TNPHCON 2013 

(Oral Presentation, Poster presentation, Clinical cases, Case studies, Interesting case with photos) 

Abstracts to be submitted before 20^th May of 2013 

Formatting

• Word format
• Not exceeding 200-300 words.
• Font size to be 12
• Arial Font
• Double Spacing
• Justified  (this creates a clean look along the left and right side of the page) 

Outline of abstract should be as follows:

• Title
• Author’s Name/s
• Introduction
• Justification
• Objectives
• Methodology
• Results
• Conclusion
• Recommendations

The following should be avoided in the Abstract

• Lengthy background information, detailed review of literature
• Incomplete sentences
• Unnecessary abbreviations to be used (Only Standard abbreviations to be Used E.g.: ORS, WHO, NRHM)
• Exclude photograph and important tables &charts

Full paper not exceeding 5,000 words may be submitted before 20^thMay 2013 While submitting the Full papers the following headlines to be used
